Welcome to TutorHub, a web-based online tutoring platform designed to connect students with tutors and facilitate online tutoring services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using TutorHub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.
By registering for an account or using any TutorHub service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the TutorHub Privacy Policy, and other applicable platform rules.
These Terms apply to all TutorHub users, including Students, Tutors, and Administrators.
Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and while maintaining their TutorHub account.
Students may use TutorHub to search for tutors, review tutor profiles, select subjects, view availability, request tutoring sessions, complete payments, communicate with tutors, attend sessions, and provide ratings or reviews where available.
Students are responsible for checking their selected tutor, subject, date, time, session duration, and other booking details before submitting a booking request.
Tutors may be required to submit information and supporting documents for verification before being approved to provide tutoring services through TutorHub.

Submission of documents does not guarantee tutor approval. TutorHub administrators may review submitted information before approving a tutor for public listing or tutoring activities.
TutorHub may reject, suspend, or remove a tutor account when submitted information is found to be false, misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, or inconsistent with platform requirements.
Tutors are responsible for ensuring that the information displayed on their profiles is accurate and up to date.
This may include:
Tutors must not claim qualifications, certifications, professional experience, or expertise that they do not possess.
Tutors are responsible for the quality, preparation, accuracy, and delivery of the tutoring services they provide.
Students may request tutoring sessions based on the tutor's available schedule.
A booking may initially have a pending status and may require payment verification before it becomes confirmed.
Students and tutors are expected to attend confirmed tutoring sessions at the scheduled date and time.
A maximum grace period of 30 minutes may be allowed for a late student, subject to the circumstances of the session and applicable TutorHub procedures.
If a student fails to attend within the applicable session period, the tutor may document the missed session through the platform.
Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions or account review.
Tutoring sessions may be conducted using supported third-party communication services such as Google Meet, Zoom, or other online meeting platforms.
Students are required to follow the payment instructions provided by TutorHub for applicable tutoring bookings.
Where payment proof is required, students must submit valid and accurate proof of payment through the designated TutorHub process.
TutorHub may apply a platform or service fee to applicable tutoring transactions.
The applicable fee may be displayed within the system and may be reflected in the tutor's earnings calculation.
Tutors acknowledge that their final earnings may differ from the student's total payment because of applicable TutorHub service fees or other authorized deductions.
Students may submit a cancellation or refund request when the applicable conditions are met.

Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Refund requests may be reviewed by the appropriate TutorHub administrator or authorized personnel.
False, fraudulent, or repeatedly abusive refund requests may result in account review or suspension.
Students may submit ratings and reviews for eligible completed tutoring sessions.
TutorHub may remove or restrict reviews that violate these Terms.
TutorHub may provide messaging features that allow students and tutors to communicate regarding tutoring services.

Users are responsible for the information and files they upload to TutorHub.
Uploaded content must be accurate, relevant, lawful, and free from malicious software.
TutorHub may review, restrict, or remove uploaded content when reasonably necessary for verification, security, moderation, or platform operation.
TutorHub may suspend, restrict, investigate, or terminate an account when a user violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, creates a security risk, or seriously misuses the platform.
Depending on the seriousness of the violation, TutorHub may apply temporary restrictions or permanent account termination.
TutorHub collects and processes personal information necessary for account registration, tutor verification, bookings, payments, communication, notifications, and platform administration.
TutorHub handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Philippine data privacy laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), where applicable.
TutorHub aims to provide reliable access to its services but does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or completely error-free.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, internet connectivity, server issues, security incidents, third-party services, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
TutorHub may use third-party services such as online meeting platforms, email services, payment services, hosting services, or other external providers.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, and requirements. Users are responsible for reviewing and complying with applicable third-party rules when using those services.
The TutorHub name, logo, website design, system features, original content, and software components developed for the platform may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit TutorHub proprietary materials without appropriate authorization.
TutorHub provides a platform for students and tutors to connect. TutorHub does not guarantee specific academic results, grades, examination scores, or other educational outcomes.
Tutors remain responsible for the tutoring services they provide, while students remain responsible for their participation, learning activities, and academic decisions.
TutorHub is not responsible for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including interruptions caused by internet connectivity, third-party services, user equipment, or other external factors.
TutorHub also does not guarantee the accuracy of every user-provided profile or the conduct of every individual user.
TutorHub may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary due to changes in platform features, services, security requirements, operational policies, or applicable laws and regulations.
Updated Terms will indicate the applicable effective date. Continued use of TutorHub after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of the Philippines.
